환경공학부 황석환 교수팀 (이준엽, 신승구, 구태완, 황석환)은 이탈리아 사르디니아에서 개최된 제 15회 국제 폐기물 관리 및 매립 학회 (15th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium; Sardinia 2015)에서 “TEMPORAL VARIATION IN BACTERIAL COMMUNITIES OF FULL-SCALE THERMOPHILIC ANAEROBIC DIGESTER TREATING FOOD WASTE-RECYCLING WASTEWATER” 주제로 생물학적 처리 부분 최우수 논문상인 Alberto Rozzi Award를 수상하였습니다. 본 학회는 폐기물 관리 분야에서 가장 큰 국제 학회 중 하나로 격년으로 열리며 올해에는 750명의 참가자, 500편 이상의 논문이 출판되었습니다.

A scientific paper entitled “TEMPORAL VARIATION IN BACTERIAL COMMUNITIES OF FULL-SCALE THERMOPHILIC ANAEROBIC DIGESTER TREATING FOOD WASTE-RECYCLING WASTEWATER” by Joonyeob Lee, Seung Gu Shin, Taewoan Koo, Seokhwan Hwang from the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, POSTECH won the Alberto Rozzi Award at the 15th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium, held in Sardinia, Italy. The 15th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium, held in Sardinia, Italy, attracted around 750 participants (more than 500 papers) this year. It is one of the biggest international conferences in the field of waste management.
